CS4ALL Events

  • October 16th-22nd, 2023 is Digital Citizenship Week. Throughout this week, students will reflect on how their digital lives impact their social and emotional well-being and that of others. Students will also focus on how to be good digital citizens and how they can use technology to create change in their communities and the world.
  • December 6th-12th, 2023 is Computer Science Education week! Throughout this week students will be participating in whole school and class activities relating to computer science. The goal is to continue to inspire students to develop a passion for computer science.
  • In May 2024, we will have a Robotics Field Day. Students will participate in robotic challenges by using code to program the robots to complete specific tasks. It is a fun way for students to apply what they have learned about computer science, programming, and robotics.
  • Computer Science End of Year Showcase: Throughout the year students will work on various projects in computer science. By the end of the year, students will go through and choose their favorite project that they wish to share with the class. Following this, the CS teachers put together a small presentation that we share with parents at the May Parent Teacher Conference.
  • Family Night: A fun-filled evening where students and parents engage in activities involving the arts, computer science, and physical education.
