Meet Mrs. Flowers & Mrs. Vasikauskas

Welcome to class 6-316!

     We are delighted to have your child in our class!  Combined we have over 35 years of teaching experience.  It is our hope that with that experience, we can collaboratively create the best learning environment for your child!  Our ultimate goal is to develop a learning environment that promotes creativity and individuality among students. Our strong belief that every child learns differently is the basis of our teaching styles.

     This is an important and exciting year for students as they transition from elementary school to middle school. We want to help your child feel confident in his or her abilities and to understand that they are capable! We will do our best to teach them how to be neat and organized but ultimately, it will be up to them to complete their assignments thoroughly and on time.

     We believe that social-emotional learning is just as important as the curriculum and hope that we can provide life skills that will help your student not only succeed this year but for years to come.

     Children benefit when parents and schools work together. We believe that communication between parents, student and teachers are essential for a successful year. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns you may have.
