Hi! Welcome to First grade! I am so excited for a new year!

I believe in fostering a love of learning at an early age. I set the standards high for myself and for my students to strive for the very best. There is nothing these little minds aren't capable of as long as they are believed in. This marks my 17th year of teaching. I began my teaching career as a Dance teacher. After a couple of years of doing so, I welcomed the opportunity to jump into the classroom where I could use my Performing Arts background to make learning fun!

It has been a pleasure working at P.S. 58 for the past 10 years in the lower grades. When you enter my classroom, you will find that it is a warm, friendly but structured environment with mutual respect amongst all. I encourage independence, individuality and leadership.
