Introduction

Hi! Welcome to class 5-301.  My name is Jessica D’Antonio and I will be the students’ Fifth Grade teacher this year.  This is my 23rd year working for the Board of Education and I have been fortunate enough to work at P.S. 58, The School for Heroes, for majority of my career.

 I have had the opportunity to work with Sixth, Fifth, and Second grades as well as a S.T.E.A.M cluster. Five years ago, In 2018 I embarked on a new Education adventure working with the Central Office as a Universal Literacy Coach.  After returning to the classroom last year, I am fortunate enough to loop with my Fourth grade students to Fifth grade.  

Having the opportunity to loop, students will start the year off knowing the routines and expectations.  But don't worry, there are many surprises this year to keep the students on their toes!!
